Part-Time Nursery Staff (8-10hrs/week)

Job Summary
Nursery staff are responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment of care for Atascocita Methodist children ages 0-3.

Spiritual Requirements

• Professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
• Commitment to the church’s worship ministries.
• Commitment to the physical and emotional safety of the children.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

• High school Diploma or GED
• CPR certification needed (we will pay for training)
• Experience in a childcare setting preferred
• Works well within a team

Major Responsibilities – Ministry

• Follow all Safe Sanctuary policies.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Share bible stories with toddlers.
• Clean and sanitize the areas the children use.

Major Responsibilities – Leadership

• Communicate scheduling requests to the Nursery coordinator in a timely manner.
• Find a substitute if unable to fulfill a scheduled shift.
