Women's' Ministry

Women’s Ministries is a place for women of all ages to come together in faith and fellowship.  Throughout the year we participate in numerous activities and enjoy hosting various guest speakers such as Joy Pottery, The Door, Open Arms International, and Family Promise.  We are actively involved in a variety of community outreach programs such as Saturday’s Child, The Door, Family Promise, and The Mission NE.  We also participate in various fundraising activities including Baby Daze and our 2nd Annual Mother/Daughter Tea Party. 

Each year AUMC Women’s Ministries hosts a Women’s Retreat for all women regardless of age or church membership.  This is a wonderful opportunity for women to come together for a weekend of fun, faith and fellowship.

We invite you to join us for our monthly meetings which are held the 2nd Monday of each month in Atascocita United Methodist Church’s sanctuary beginning at 6:30pm.  Childcare and dinner are provided.

Announcements

Easter Lillies will go on sale March 11th and can be purchased until April 1st.  Lillies may be purchased in the Narthex before and after each service for $12 each.

Please pick up your Lilies on Easter Sunday.  All plants left after the 11:00 service will be donated.

Pink Ladies of AUMC

Women’s Ministries is a proud supporter of our “Pink Ladies” not only through participating in the Race for the Cure but also we are blessed to be able to provide supplies for the ladies to continue making beautiful monogrammed blankets for those undergoing chemo-therapy.

Women's Ministry Reading Circle

Like to read?  Join the AUMC Book Circle.

The AUMC Book Circle meets at Panera Bread in Atascocita on the 4th Saturday of the month at 10am.  We read a variety of books—fiction, non-fiction, self-help, religious-themed; one genre doesn’t define us.  We love to talk about books—what we are reading and what we would like to read, but reading the current book is not necessary.  Come and enjoy a relaxing morning with a group of women of all ages.
