Our mission at the Weekday Learning Center is to serve God and to share the gifts He has given to us by providing a loving, caring, and nurturing learning environment for all children He sends our way. It is our prayer that they will grow in His love and grace, and excel to heights unknown through the knowledge they will absorb with us.
The philosophy of the Weekday Learning Center is to provide the children with the tools to expand and develop their hand-eye coordination, their fine and gross motor skills, their thought processing, and their academic skills. We focus on hands-on and visual learning with an emphasis on Christian values.
Our loving staff is comprised of dedicated teachers whose main purpose is to love and nurture your child while wrapping them in the joy of Jesus!

Construction Detours!
Due to construction on our new sanctuary building, the main drive off of Pinehurst Trail Dr. to the Life Center will be closed through mid March. The traffic flow for drop-off and pickup will be as follows:

Preschool Prep
Preschool Prep is designed for children ages 12 months (by September 1st of the current school year) through 2 years of age.
The program is centered around the development and growth of the child in all areas including social, physical, and spiritual. The curriculum is theme centered with academics intertwined. Children have a rest period after lunch each day.
Preschool
Our Preschool classes are for 3 and 4 year old children. A Pre-K 5 class is offered for children needing an extra year for confidence building.
The program focuses on fine and gross motor skill development as well as academics. The children are encouraged to learn through hands-on projects that target the development of necessary skills required for beginning reading and writing. Social, emotional, and spiritual developments are also taught.

The Weekday Learning Center School follows the Humble ISD calendar (there may be a few deviations).
Calendar
"Under the Big Top" Summer Fun begins June 11. This program is for children from 1yr. - 4th grade. We will have 7 weeks of circus fun T/W/Th from 9:30am - 2:30pm. Registration continues with limited openings.

Registration Information
Open enrollment for the 2013-2014 schol year continues with limited openings for both summer and fall sessons.

Registration Rates (required once per year;
non-refundable)
Registration Rates include: WLC T- Shirt, Classroom Supplies, 4 parties (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine, and Easter) and 6 luncheon days (Thanksgiving Feast, Rodeo Lunch, Chinese New Year, Cinco de Mayo, Carnival Day, and Water Day.)
Children who attend more than 3 days a week will receive 2 T-Shirts and will have 2 of each party and special luncheon days.

Tuition Rates (per month)
Tuition will be automatically drafted on the 5th of each month. If your credit card or electronic funds transfer is declined you must submit an alternate credit card or EFT account by the 10th of the month or a $10.00 late fee will be added to your account.
There is a $10.00 monthly tuition discount for all AUMC members. There is a $20.00 monthly tuition discount for families with multiple siblings at the WLC. Only one of these discounts can be applied.
If you pay your yearly tuition balance in full in September you will receive a $100.00 discount.

Before and After School (Extended) Care
Before School Care is offered for children ages 3, 4, and 5. It begins at 8:15am and runs until school starts.
After School Care is offered for children ages 3, 4, and 5. It begins after school and runs until 4:00pm.
The program is offered Monday through Friday.
