2012 AUMC Goals

Radical Hospitality

1. Continue to develop a strong pipeline of guests, with a goal of welcoming 50 new member families.
2. Offer Reason for God as evangelistic class for folks exploring Christianity and for church members wanting to strengthen their faith in Christ.

Faith-Forming Relationships

1. Add new small groups including Children, Youth, Adult Sunday School, Bible Studies, and other groups such that small group participation increases 5%.
2. Feature Walk to Emmaus Sunday so that more will be encouraged to go on a Walk.
3. Add part-time Children’s Ministry Director and Summer Youth Interns.

Passionate Worship

1. Grow Sunday worship attendance by 6%
2. Expand music presence in 8:15 worship
3. Add permanent organist and part-time Assistant Music Director

Risk-Taking Mission

1. Add Timbers Elementary to Kid’s Hope program
2. Expand Costa Rica mission team
3. Improve in “domestic” mission presence (Ex: Early Response Teams)

Extravagant Generosity

1. Conduct successful Capital Campaign for new Sanctuary and classroom expansion.
2. Fully pay apportionments
3. Continue growth in mission spending to approach 10% of overall budget.
