Reasons to Give

Giving is a vital part of spiritual formation and maturity. It requires two simple things:  Faith & Faithfulness.

Faith - Giving is an active expression of faith.  It recognizes God as the True Provider.  It affirms confidence in His ability to supply all that is needed.  It is an act of gratitude and dependence.  And, it allows partnership with God and His work through the church and in the world.

Faithfulness - Giving requires the highest standard of personal integrity and discipline.  It is not a casual or occasional thing.  In 2 Corinthians 8-9, the Bible teaches we are to give willingly, generously, and cheerfully.  And our pattern should reflect a regular and systematic plan. 

With these two principles in mind, a new opportunity for giving is being provided.  It is "online" giving.  It is a new and simple way to prioritize and expedite your personal plan for giving. 

How it Works

There are 3 simple areas to fill out in our online form to complete your gift.  Here's what you can expect the first time you give:

Step 1:  Your Personal Information
In order to establish your online giving plan, we need to gather some basic information about you.  All of this information will be secured.  You may want to take a moment to review information concerning site security.  If you check the box at the bottom of the Personal Information section, (optional) you will be able to access your account at any time by entering your username (email address) and password.

Step 2:  Your Gift Information
You will determine the frequency and amount of your tithes and offerings to the ministry of Atascocita UMC.  Post-dated or recurring gifts can be cancelled at any time.  You will be asked to specify whether your gift is intended as regular tithes and offerings or for the Capital Campaign fund and whether it is a one-time or recurring gift.

Step 3:  Your Account Information
You will be asked to enter your credit card or checking account information. You will continue to receive your statement of contributions from AUMC in the mail as you have in the past. Your online contributions will appear on these statements.  In addition, you will receive an email reminder of every change you make to your online account and for every time a transaction is processed from your online account.

Established Accounts
Once you have established your account via the above procedures, merely click the Login button at the upper right of the page and enter your login information to access your account at any time.
