MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship)

MYF is every Sunday night in the Life Center.  Both Junior High (6th - 8th graders) and Senior High (9th - 12th graders) meet from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. 

This is a time for food, fun, and spiritual fellowship.  We spend the evening enjoying a meal together and playing fun and lesson-learning games as we continue to learn how Jesus want s us to live our lives.

Family Youth Game Night

Game Night will start back up on Friday, September 10th, but this time with a twist.  The youth and their families are invited to join us for a night of food, games and fellowship.  The gym will be open to basketball and kickball and the welcome center will be set for board games.  Everyone bring a main dish or side dish to share.  Drinks and desserts will be provided.

Prayer Blanket Ministry

The youth will be starting a Prayer Blanket Ministry in January.  We will take on the task of making blankets, praying over them, and then giving them to members of our church in times of need.  We are in need of pre-made fleece blankets or fleece and other fabrics in order to make these blankets.  The fabric should be in yard increments.  To make a fleece blanket, we will need 2 yards of fabric (the same or contrasting prints/solids) for they will be tied together.  We will begin collecting the blankets/material in January.  This will be an ongoing project throughout the year.

Youth Led Worship Service

At least once a year, the AUMC Youth inspire us by leading us in 1, if not all 3 Sunday worship services.  The youth hosted the Easter Sunrise Service again last year on April 2nd.
