Mission NE

AUMC’s Women’s Ministries reaches out within the local communities through varying missions projects.  One of the local organizations we are blessed to be able to help during the Holiday Season is Mission NE.  Again this year we are able to donate new toys and gift cards to the Mission NE’s Santa Store which provides children and families an opportunity to Christmas shop for their loved ones so that they will have something special waiting for them on Christmas morning.

About Mission NE

• Is a Christ-based outreach ministry provided to the community
• Consists of Board members, staff and volunteers who know Christ as their Savior and Lord
• Presents the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to clients both in word and deed
• Provides clients with food, clothing, housewares, and referrals necessary for their personal situations
• Is committed to creating awareness within the community of the needs of low-income or no-income residents and how we can network together to improve the community
• Is committed to breaking the cycle of generational poverty by providing adult education opportunities
• Has special programs for elderly and disabled
• Cares about building the long-term well being of all clients by fostering self-sufficiency and minimizing on-going dependency
• Does not discriminate in providing services to clients regarding race, creed, color, national origin, age or religion.
