Healing Hearts

Healing Hearts Ministry is comprised of volunteers who are members of our church.  We meet the first Monday of each month at 7:00pm in room A101 and the following items are discussed and acted upon:

• Who is in the hospital, ill at home, needs a visit or a friendly phone call ?
• We take “Our Church on Wheels” to the Humble Health Care Center the second Sunday of every month at 2:00PM.
• We also send a copy of our church bulletin and a Bible verse to our home bound church members.
• We do the care brochures that are located in the narthex.
• Quartly we help with “Saturday’s Child” program where we take food to hungry families.

These are just a few of the ways we are acting upon God’s call to action and outreach.  As you can see, we are an active and vital part of our church’s mission statement.

As with any volunteer group, new members are always needed and welcome.  If you find yourself being called by God to step out and act upon your faith walk, this is a great place to start.

If you can contribute approximately 3 hours a month, pray, hug, smile, use the phone or enjoy a visit with a fellow church member,  we love to have you join us.
