H.A.A.M. (Humble Area Assistance Ministries)

Humble Area Assistance Ministries is a non-profit organization created to address the needs expressed by local clergy for a social service agency.  The agency provides various kinds of emergency assistance for families experiencing temporary crisis.  Services include a food pantry, resale shop, housing and utility assistance, education assistance, ESL, job placement assistance, and much more.  Cash, resale items, toiletries, and food donations are always welcomed.

Annual Food Drive in May

We will be collecting nonperishable, kid-friendly food throughout the month of May.  They can also use toiletries and baby supplies.  Thank you for your continued generosity!

Do you know anyone who needs assistance?

H.A.A.M. will start taking registration for school supplies for the 2012-2013 school year in May!  If you know anyone who needs this kind of assistance, have them go to H.A.A.M. on Monday – Thursday from 10:00am – 2:00pm to apply.

Outside Project Ideas

Watch for the suggested project ideas sheet that is being distributed to the Sunday School classes and groups.  Your group might like to participate in one of these projects which can be organized outside of HAAM and then delivered during their open hours - Monday through Thursday from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
