Thanks to our regional and local president of United Methodist Men, Billy Riggs and Walter Balderach, Atascocita United Methodist Church is hosting the fall retreat of the Texas Conference of United Methodist Men on September 18th from 8:00am to 3:00pm. 

The conference will be headlined by well know speaker and author Brett Clemmer (No Man Left Behind).  Brett has a true passion for men’s ministry and can really speak to a man’s heart.  Brett will talk in the morning and hold breakout sessions in the morning and afternoon. 

There will be several breakout sessions to chose from:  Kiaros (prison ministry), Prayer That Touches God (lead by our own pastor Andy Noel), Social Media (Travis Barrs), and Emmaus.  We will be lead throughout the day in music by our own Praise and Worship band “the connection.”

We will close out the day with Matt Neely as our afternoon speaker.  Matt is our own home grown young man who will hopefully tell us how God has lead him from his days as a youth minister in our church to the start of his new church “The Watershed.”  It will be a great day of fun, fellowship, and of course we will have a little food too with breakfast and lunch being served.  Please join us as we “Build MoMENtum Thru Discipleship.”
