<html> <head> <title>AUMC Lifing Prayer Center Volunteer Request</title> </head> <body> Dear Men of AUMC, We are scheduled to host the Living Prayer Center this Sunday (March 18th) from 1:00pm until 5:00pm.  The Upper Room® Living Prayer Center is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week intercessory prayer ministry staffed by Christian volunteers.  AUMC volunteers staff the Center for only a few hours each month.  When someone calls, we will answer the phone, receive their prayer request, and pray with them.  There is no counseling involved.  Even if you have not done this before, it takes about 5 minutes to read over the guidelines and become familiar with what is expected.  There is usually always an experienced volunteer present to answer any questions or provide guidance for new participants. Please prayerfully consider volunteering this month.  “Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” Galatians 6:2. Also, Billy Ward is requesting volunteers for the Banquet of the annual Grand Conclave of the Grand Commandery Knights Templar Of Texas.  The banquet is at the Humble Civic Center on April 21 and they are in need of volunteers to serve the food to the tables and later buss the tables.  If you will check your calendar, Billy will pass around a sign up sheet at the Bible Study meeting Monday for any volunteers to sign if they would like to help.  They are in need of approx. 20 volunteers.    Meet at 6:30pm in the Christopher's meeting room for our study.  We will order from the menu in order for our meal to be ready at 7:30pm.
