Cardboard Box City

Cardboard Box City is a fundraiser in which people camp for the night in a temporary dwelling to increase awareness about homelessness and raise money to support Family Promise of Lake Houston.  Youth from AUMC, First UMC Humble, Atascocita Presbyterian, Atascocita Lutheran, and Friendship UMC in Porter participated on Sunday, October 11 by collecting "rent" (pledges), building their cardboard box city, and then spending the night in their creation.  Other activities included contests, games, music, and devotions.
